Tornado

In my dream last night, there was a tornado. My dreams tend to have identical themes that connect them, such as water--1 out of 3 dreams will have water in some form, river or ocean usually. But last night's dream had a tornado, a first time occurrence for me.

I was crouching on a couch when the twister was coming through, whipping up debris in its path, the home I was in had no walls, just a couch and a large cushion which I used as a shield. The tornado went by once and then a second time. Oddly, I was safe under the cushion.

From Dream Moods Dictionary, a tornado is said to signify emotional outbursts, tempers, feeling overwhelmed and out of control, also destructive relationships.

Similarly, I recently dreamed about having to wade through mucky water in order to hang a poster on a freestanding building. This interpretation seems eerily similar to a tornado:

To see muddy or dirty water in your dream, indicates that you are wallowing in your negative emotions. You may need to devote some time to clarify your mind and find internal peace. Alternatively, it suggests that your thinking/judgment is unclear and clouded. If you are immersed in muddy water, then it indicates that you are in over your head in a situation and are overwhelmed by your emotions.

So, let's just say my emotions have the best of me lately, and that statement is far from untrue--especially astrologically...

Transiting Uranus is conjuncting my Sun and Mars for awhile, which also means he's trining my Moon. Sometimes I forget to look at what other aspects are being activated, and that isn't the only one. The Neptune/Jupiter/Chiron conjunction which is sitting on my natal Mercury is also inconjuncting my Moon. Quadruple whammy? Talk about an emotional roller coaster.

My poor little Moon. Always geting picked on...

On the plus side, Mercury goes direct. Something's gotta give, right?

  1. Weird, I am trying to paste something that I wrote earlier, but it won't let me...

I know that the house is supposed to represent you or your soul. Walls are symbols for boundaries... maybe there was some aspect of you that was really unguarded (no walls) and the tornado (emotional whirlwind) came and knocked you out of your comfort zone (couch).

I also saw somewhere as the tornado as a symbol of feelings of being taken advantage of...

Anyhow, I think it's great that you're remembering more and more of your dreams! <3
